Saturday, November 16, the MVRHS boys and girls cross country teams competed in the Massachusetts All State Cross Country finals at Franklin Park, Boston. This is the highest level of competition for the top teams from all regions of the state. Both of the MV teams placed 12th in their races.

In order to run in the State Finals, each team had to place in the top four in their respective division meet on November 12. The MV boys placed third, the girls were fourth.

Only 18 teams qualified to run on Saturday. The last time both MV teams made it to the finals was 2004. In 2010 the MV boys were 7th and the girls, 13th.
