Retired Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School chemistry teacher James John Kresel of The Villages, Florida, died Saturday, January 14. He was 64.
Mr. Kresel was born in Boston and moved to The Villages in 2011 from Martha’s Vineyard. He was Baptist by faith.
He was also a Pharmacist at Children’s Hospital, Boston, and Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire. He was Past President of New England Swimming, loved all trains and his dog Arabella.
Survivors include his wife Mary Ellen C. Kresel of The Villages; his daughter, Susan K. Kaden, and her husband, Jonathan, of Highland Park, Ill.; his sons Jonathan J. Kresel and his wife, Courtney, of Norwood, and Joshua J. Kresel of Martha’s Vineyard. He is also survived by his sister, Veronica A. Daley, and her husband, James, of Lyme, N.H.; his grandsons Benjamin James and Ari Jacob Kaden; and his aunt, Mary O’Brien, West Roxbury.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Walpole.
