A story published June 21, “Edgartown National Bank withdraws major Oyster Bar redevelopment proposal,” included a quotation from a letter Oak Bluffs selectman Gail Barmakian sent to the Martha’s Vineyard Commission. The story failed to note that Ms. Barmakian advocated for an affordable housing component as part of the bank’s development plans.

A story published June 21, “Coast Guard Station Menemsha honors newest college graduates,” misidentified the ranks of the graduates. They are: Petty Officer Second Class Gary Kovack, Petty Officer First Class Scott Maccaferri, Petty Officer Second Class Nickolas Meegan, Petty Officer First Class Daniel Phillips, and Petty Officer First Class Christopher Seevers.

A scholarship listing in the June 14 graduation supplement for Anna (Zen) Hughes of the Martha’s Vineyard Public Charter School incorrectly listed the amount of her award from the MV Youth Leadership as $1,000. The correct amount is $100.

An obituary published June 21 for Gladys Widdiss misspelled the last name of one of her great grandchildren. The correct name is Josie Iadicicco.

A story published June 21, “Edgartown business owners upbeat on summer trade,” incorrectly identified Hob Knob Eco-Boutique Hotel as an inn.
