
Bring it on at Wingfest
This Saturday, consume all-you-can-eat chicken wings and support the Boys and Girls Club of Martha’s Vineyard at the annual Wingest at Sharky’s Cantina in Edgartown. “The Nutcracker” this weekend
The 15th annual “Nutcracker Gala” performance, performed by Children in the Arts of Martha’s Vineyard, is this Saturday, Dec. 1, at 7 pm and Sunday, Dec. 2, at 2 pm. The show features the Atlantic Coast Ballet on stage with dozens of young Vineyard dancers, making up a cast of 75. The show, directed by Beth Vages, is at the Performing Arts Center at the M.V. For the Moores
A fundraiser for Jim and Shannon Moore will be held at the Portuguese-American Club in Oak Bluffs Friday, Nov. 30. Jim was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in 2008, and is currently going through treatments. Friday’s event is from 6 to 10 pm, and includes music, a silent auction, hors d’oeuvres, and more.
