Scholarship applications available

The Martha’s Vineyard Chamber of Commerce announced that applications for the 2013-2014 Jim Lambert Memorial Scholarship are now available at the Chamber office at 24 Beach Street, Vineyard Haven opposite the Vineyard Haven post office.

Office hours are 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. Applications may also be downloaded from the Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School Web site, www.mvrhs.org.

Scholarships are awarded to graduates of a Martha’s Vineyard High School who are enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or post-secondary educational institution in a formal degree or certificate program, according to a press release. Applicants must, at a minimum, be currently enrolled in the second semester of a post high school program. Previous winners are not eligible to apply. Completed applications must be received by the Chamber no later than April 16, 2013.
