Hot, fresh sausages, lively tunes, and lots of familiar Island faces were the ingredients in a fun night at the Martha’s Vineyard Agricultural Society’s “Meat Ball” Saturday evening.
The Day Trippers made the music, and an assorted crew of cooks and sausage stuffers the food, served buffet style in the Ag Hall.
A sausage workshop, led by Jefferson Munroe of the Good Farm, kicked off the day and helped stock the larder. Morning Glory sauerkraut, and Island-grown sides added to the fare. Proceeds benefited the agricultural society.
