Kudos for Kia Minor

Kia Minor or Edgartown, former basketball player at the Oak Bluffs School and Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School, has had a remarkable year as captain of the women’s basketball team at Framingham State University (FSU). Last week, Kia was selected to the 2012–2013 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women’S Basketball All-Conference Team.

The eighth FSU woman to reach the 1,000-point plateau, Kia has been chosen twice this season as the MASCAC Women’s Basketball Player of the Week.

Kia is grateful for all the support and encouragement she has received from the Martha’s Vineyard community.
