Across Martha’s Vineyard on Sunday, children poked under sea grass, scoured wooded glens, and peeked behind spring flowers to find Easter eggs — some of them carefully packed with candy — hidden by a very large bunny.

The Harbor View Hotel’s annual egg hunt drew a large mob of children dressed in their best Easter outfits to Edgartown Light.

Vineyard Gardens sponsored an egg hunt on the grounds of their West Tisbury nursery and landscaping headquarters, much to the delight of the many children who turned out to hunt for candy treasures.

The Portuguese American Club in Oak Bluffs drew a large crowd of kids who scoured the nearby woods and fields for eggs.
