The Chilmark Coffee Company is now certified organic. Owner Todd Christie said his small up-Island company was approved and certified as USDA organic by Baystate Organic Certifiers.
“This certification provides to the customer a traceability from coffee origin to kitchen table cup that the processes set by the National Organic Program have been followed throughout the supply chain,” Mr. Christie said in an email to The Times. “We are very proud to provide the Vineyard with such transparency and quality for our product. Please look for the USDA logo on all our certified organic coffees.”
