Representatives of Congressman Stephen Lynch and Congressman Ed Markey, candidates for the Massachusetts Democratic nomination for the U.S. Senate, will appear at a question-and-answer discussion session hosted by the M.V. Democratic Council on Saturday, April 13.
The meeting will be held from 9 to 10:30 am at the Howes House in West Tisbury, across from Alley’s Store.
This is a contest between two very different but experienced Congressmen. It will be the only on-site opportunity for Vineyarders to ask questions and to compare the two candidates and their stands on significant issues, according to a press release from the Council.
The candidates will hold a televised debate on April 22. The primary election is Tuesday, April 30.
