Yankee Magazine’s Travel Guide to New England, on newsstands April 23, has announced this year’s “Best of New England — Editors’ Choice” winners. This designation is awarded by Yankee’s editors and contributors, who name select restaurants, lodgings, and attractions in New England to the exclusive list, according to a press release.

One Vineyard restaurant and one attraction made the list. Martha’s Vineyard Chowder Company in Oak Bluffs is listed for “Best Clam Chowder.”

The list of “Top 20 Events” in Massachusetts, includes the Portuguese Holy Ghost Feast on July 20–21. “Follow the parade from Oak Bluffs Wharf to the Portuguese American Club, where you’ll enjoy traditional kale-and-sausage soup as well as great live music, dancing, food (including BBQ), and games of chance.” For more information, go to mvholyghost.com.
