Farmers Market starts Saturday
The West Tisbury Farmers Market is back this Saturday for its 39th year, setting up shop once again at the Grange Hall on State Road. Find local produce, baked goods, prepared foods, and more from 9 am to 12 noon. The Wednesday market, also from 9 am to 12 noon, begins on July 3. Batter up
The Martha’s Vineyard Sharks begin their third season this Tuesday, June 11, when they play the Brockton Rox at 6 pm. And it’s Little League Day at the park: Little Leaguers who wear their team jersey and hat get free admission. For the rest, it’s $6; $5 for children under 13. The Sense of Wonder Spring Art Exhibit and benefit for Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) Rwanda is this Friday and Saturday, June 7 (1–5 pm) and 8 (1–6 pm), at the Vineyard Haven art class and camp space.
