James E. “Jim” Early died on Thursday evening, July 11, 2013 at his home in Vineyard Haven. He was 82.
Mr. Early was the husband of Carole (Gerber) Early and the father of Elizabeth and Mary Early, both of Washington, D.C. He was also the brother of Jerry Earley of Forest City, NC.
Visiting hours in the Chapman, Cole and Gleason Funeral Home, Edgartown Road, Oak Bluffs will be held from 4 to 6 pm on Monday, July 15. His funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 am, Tuesday, July 16 in St. Augustine’s Church, Franklin Street, Vineyard Haven. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery, State Road, Vineyard Haven.
