The stage is set for the third Annual Martha’s Vineyard Comedy Fest, a series of comedy shows August 22 through 24 sponsored by Centric. An all-star cast of comedians, including B Phlat, Damon Williams, Steve Brown, and Tony Sculfield performed August 12, 13, and 14, and now Marlon Mitchell, Cool-Aide, Tony Tone, and Pierre perform at The Lampost in Oak Bluffs for the second half of the series.
The website for the Comedy Fest says, “The festival will offer a fresh brand of humor, building on the legacy of laughter established by great comedians, such as Moms Mabley, Dick Gregory, Nipsey Russell, Bill Cosby, Richard Pryor, Paul Mooney, Whoopie Goldberg, and Eddie Murphy, all of whom blazed the trails for future comedians.”
Doors for all shows open at 7:30 pm, and performances begin at 8 pm. Tickets are $30. For more information, visit marthasvineyardcomedy.com.
