All Island Tennis Championships raise $16,000 for hospice

The ninth annual All Island Tennis Championships last weekend at Farm Neck raised more than $16,000 for Hospice of Martha’s Vineyard. A successful silent auction, organized by Lorry Eible of Edgartown, bolstered the total funds.

One hundred players competed in 11 divisions. The highlights included Todd Hollister winning titles in two divisions, along with youngsters Kat Roberts and Elizabeth Williamson moving up to a higher division and winning the women’s 8.0 championship.
