If you want to help out those affected by Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines, all you have to do is eat, drink, and enjoy live music. On Thanksgiving eve, Wednesday, Nov. 27, The Ritz Cafe in Oak Bluffs will host a live music party to raise money for relief efforts. TPS Presents, in association with Ten Thousand Means, presents the music of Dukes County Love Affair (DCLA) at 10 pm. All door proceeds will be donated to two internationally acclaimed charity organizations: Doctors Without Borders, and the Love146 Haiyan Children’s Relief Fund.
Over the course of Thanksgiving weekend, various Island restaurants and retailers will post the official “Help for Haiyan” poster in their windows to show supports for the typhoon victims and relief efforts.
