James Pringle of Vineyard Haven was appointed to another term as a Justice of the Peace for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, with a “special designation to solemnize marriages, for seven years, if said appointee shall so long behave well in said office.”
Julia MacNelly of West Tisbury has been awarded a Fulbright Fellowshipto teach English in Tryavna, in central Bulgaria. Julia is a 2014 graduate of Scripps College in Claremont, Calif.
