A memorial service and interment for Gordie Bassett, brother of Leslie “Laz” Frizzell of Oak Bluffs, will be held at 6 pm on Sunday, September 14, at Grace Church on Woodlawn Street in Vineyard Haven.
Gordon died February 2, 2014, at the age of 55. Family and friends will celebrate Gordon’s life. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Martha’s Vineyard or The Episcopal Conference Center, Pascoag, Rhode Island, or Harmony Hill School, Chepachet, Rhode Island.
