At the Edgartown Bridge Club on Monday September 29, 15 pairs competed. Finishing first overall were were Al Shrive and Mac Whiteman, followed by David Donald and Sue Collinson in second, and Eric Stricoff and Rhonda Cohen in third. In fourth place, Charlie Harff and Judy Balph tied with Cheryl Neal and Dotti Arnold. Tied for sixth place were Molly Mattoon and Judy Cronig with Sandy and Michael Lindheimer.
At the Martha’s Vineyard Bridge Club on Tuesday September 30, eight tables were in play for an International Fund Game. Overall winners were Carol Whitmarsh and John O’Keefe, followed by Barbara Besse and Sandy Lindheimer in second. In third place, Mollie Whalen and Joe Ashcroft tied with Sue Collinson and Miles Jaffe. Fifth place overall went to Dan and Nancy Cabot. Also placing in the North-South direction were Deirdre Ling and Ed Russell in third place.
At the Island Bridge Club in West Tisbury on Thursday, October 2, 12 pairs competed. Finishing in first place overall were David Donald and Rich Colter, followed by Sandy and Michael Lindheimer in second, Eric Stricoff and Rhonda Cohen in third, Sue Collinson and Charlie Harff in fourth, and Dotti Arnold and Cheryl Neal in fifth.
