At the Edgartown Bridge Club on Monday, November 3, 11 pairs competed. Finishing first overall were Mollie Whalen and Joe Ashcroft, followed by Abe Sieman and Bruce Desmarais in second, Ency Fokos and Simmy Denhart in third, and Gail Farrish and Warren Morse in fourth.
At the Martha’s Vineyard Bridge Club on Tuesday, November 4, eight pairs competed. Finishing in first place were Nancy Neil and Bea Phear, followed by Dave Donald and Michel Riel in second, and Barbara Besse and Sue Collinson in third.
At the Island Bridge Club in West Tisbury on Thursday, November 6, 11 pairs competed. First place went to Michael Lindheimer and Bob Iadicicco, followed by Mollie Whalen and Joe Ashcroft in second, Nancy Neil and Dave Donald in third, and Sandy Lindheimer and Barbara Bess in fourth.
