The Island Housing Trust (IHT) celebrated the recent completion of three new Sepiessa rental apartments with a ribbon-cutting ceremony last Thursday. The apartments, at 12 Clam Point Road in West Tisbury, were designed by South Mountain Company and built by Drews Cove Builders to the highest “MassSave” energy efficiency standards. They will be available to lower income residents.
The IHT funded the construction with donations from the Dukes County Regional Housing Authority, the town of West Tisbury’s Community Preservation Committee, Edgartown National Bank, Drews Cove Builders, and South Mountain Company, among others.
In December, the IHT will have six additional apartments coming on line. Interested applicants should apply with the Dukes County Regional Housing Authority at the Vineyard Haven Housing Office at 364 State Road, Vineyard Haven.
