The Steamship Authority has canceled a number of Saturday trips. Travelers are advised to check boatline schedules.
The following trips have been canceled due to weather conditions:
M/V ISLAND HOME 1:15 PM Woods Hole to Vineyard Haven
M/V ISLAND HOME 12:00 PM Vineyard Haven to Woods Hole.
The 9:30 am trip of the Martha’s Vineyard from Woods Hole to Vineyard Haven and its 10:45 am return to Woods Hole.
The 9:30 am run of the Island Home from Vineyard Haven to Woods Hole and the 10:45 am trip from Woods Hole to Vineyard Haven.
Earlier the SSA canceled the 7 am run of the Island Home from Woods Hole to Vineyard Haven and her 8:15 am return.
Travelers are advised to check with the boatline for further information.
Storm watch
The SSA has also advised customers that the National Weather Service issued a wind advisory until 9pm, Saturday night.
The National Weather Service has also issued a Winter Storm Watch from 7pm on Sunday, February 1 to 1 am, Tuesday, February 3.
