A head-on collision between two vehicles on Beach Road midway between Little Bridge and Big Bridge about 2:30 pm, Monday afternoon sent two drivers to the hospital with serious injuries and closed down the road for a period of time.
The two vehicles involved in the crash, a late model Subaru wagon and a Ford SUV sustained significant damage.
