In honor of this month’s Earth Day and the Vineyard Conservation Society’s 50th birthday, participate in the annual Earth Day beach cleanup at 23 Island beaches. On Saturday, April 11, head to your favorite beach at 10 am and join your friends and neighbors in protecting our ocean environment. Volunteers will be on hand with supplies, and the event will be followed by an afterparty at the Harbor View Hotel, with food from Island restaurants. The event is free and open to the public.
