A second home for Fella’s
Good news for fans of Fella’s Take-Out in West Tisbury. According to Jane Cecilio, co-owner (with her husband Fella Cecilio) of Fella’s Inc., a new Fella’s will be opening at 20 Union Street in Vineyard Haven sometime in May. Called, appropriately, Fella’s on Union, it will inhabit the old Mad Martha’s space. “It’s a little bigger,” Jane says. “We’ll have seating in there. It’ll be a broader menu. We’ll have more hot food. We’ll have a better facility so we can offer a bit more.
“In the summer,” she continues, “we’re going to do backyard barbecue. We do that right now in West Tisbury one night a week. We’ll be doing that down there at least four nights a week. We’ll be grilling out on the patio.”
What they’ll be barbecuing is chicken and ribs with all the tasty and familiar sides. As Jane puts it, “They’ll smell the smoke as they’re walking off the boat.”
Lure Grill becomes the Dunes
This spring, the signature restaurant at Winnetu Oceanside Resort is reopening Friday April 17 with a new name, décor, concept, and menus, to complete an entirely elevated culinary experience.
Lure Grill has been transformed for a new culinary chapter, including the adoption of a new name: the Dunes. Spearheading the culinary revival is executive chef Matthew Passalacqua, who will be creating delicious coastal cuisine inspired by local, seasonal, and sustainable ingredients.
Starting June 10, diners with reservations may take a spectacular and complimentary water taxi cruise or shuttle van from Edgartown Harbor to the Dunes.
