Frances L. Alwardt of Oak Bluffs died Sunday, April 19, 2015, at the Windsor Nursing Facility in South Yarmouth. She was 82.
She is survived by her children Marcia J. Anderson and husband Steven of North Carolina, Carl Michael Alwardt and his wife Sara of West Tisbury, Joan Ethier and husband Jamie of Salem, and Eric Alwardt and his wife Sharon of Plymouth.
She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Frances was predeceased by her husband Carl W. Alwardt, her parents Alexander and Grace Crowell, her sister Norma Jean White, her granddaughter Carly E. Anderson and her grandson Nicholas J. Alwardt.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 22, at 11 am at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Oak Bluffs.
