Franklin – Traficante
Penny and Gavin Franklin of West Tisbury announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Lynn Franklin, to Dr. David Christopher Traficante, son of Eileen and the late Dr. Louis J. Traficante, of Shohola, Pa.
The future bride graduated from Hartwick College with a B.A. degree in business administration, and received her B.S. degree in nursing from MGH Institute of Health Professions. She is employed as a registered nurse on the postpartum unit/critical care nursery at NewYork-Presbyterian Weill Cornell. Her fiancé graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a B.S. degree in chemistry and pre-medicine, and earned his medical degree from Lake Erie College of Medicine. He is a resident physician in emergency medicine at St. Joseph’s Regional Trauma Center in Paterson, N.J.
An October 2015 wedding is planned on Martha’s Vineyard.
