This Saturday, May 2, is the YMCA’s annual Healthy Kids Day event, a community initiative to help educate Island children about staying healthy. The free event takes place at the YMCA of Martha’s Vineyard from 11 am to 2 pm, and includes healthy and fun activities for the whole family: an obstacle course, carnival games, bounce house, petting farm, chalk mural, face painting, photo booth, clown parade, and more. The event also features activities from local partners The FARM Institute, Island Grown Schools, Felix Neck, Martha’s Vineyard Community Services, The Yard, and others.
