Cycling season on the Island gets underway this weekend with the annual Bike MS: Ride the Vineyard race on Saturday, May 2. The event is expected to bring 700 cyclists to the Island, who will embark on one of three routes from the Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School. The National MS Society will host the annual kickoff celebration for the race weekend on Friday, May 1, at Sharky’s Cantina in Edgartown, from 6 to 9 pm.
