At the Edgartown Bridge Club on Monday, April 20, eight pairs competed. Finishing first were Warren Morse and Gail Farrish, followed by Mollie Whalen and Joe Ashcroft in second, and Art Spielvogel and Norman Da Silva in third.
At the Martha’s Vineyard Bridge Club on Tuesday, April 21, eight pairs competed in a charity event. Finishing first were Anita Persson and Ken Judson, followed by Michel Riel and Dave Donald in second, and Colleen Morris and Art Spielvogel in third.
At the Island Bridge Club in West Tisbury on Thursday, April 23, nine pairs competed. First place went to Mollie Whalen and Joe Ashcroft, followed by Ency and Robert Fokos in second, and Dan and Nancy Cabot in third. Tied for fourth place were Anita Persson, playing with Lolly Hand, and Lee Scott, playing with Ken Judson.
