Elizabeth Ann Jette of Oak Bluffs died May 13, 2015. She was 69.
She was the wife of the late Vincent B. Jette, beloved daughter of Grace Holman of Oak Bluffs, and devoted mother of Robert Jette of New Bedford, Christine Rodriguez (Jose) and Grace Robinson (Albie) of Oak Bluffs, James Jette of Boston, and Bernard Jette (Laurie Kearney) of Carver.
She was the dear sister of Dorothy Richardson of Stoughton, Mary Holman of Oak Bluffs, John Jones of Boston, and the late Melvin Holman of N.Y.; and proud grandmother of 15. Elizabeth also leaves seven great-grandchildren and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends to mourn her death.
An oceanside memorial in celebration of her life will be held at noon Saturday at the Oak Bluffs fishing pier (adjacent to the Steamship Authority pier in Oak Bluffs). Following the service, the family will convene at the VFW, 14 Towanticut Avenue, in Oak Bluffs from 1 pm to 3 pm.
