At the Edgartown Bridge Club on Monday, May 11, 12 pairs competed. Finishing first were Mollie Whalen and Joe Ashcroft, followed by Caroline Baum and Gerry Averill in second, Bea Phear and Sue Collinson in third, Barbara Silk and Deirdre Ling in fourth, and Warren Morse and Gail Farrish in fifth. Note that the Edgartown Bridge Club will be moving to the Tisbury Senior Center on June 1; game time to be announced.
Results were not available for the Martha’s Vineyard Bridge Club on Tuesday, May 12, but be reminded that the start time for this game has changed to 7:00 pm every Tuesday.
At the Island Bridge Club in West Tisbury on Thursday, May 14, 10 pairs competed. First place went to Carol Whitmarsh and Barbara Besse, followed by Dan and Nancy Cabot in second. Tied for third place were Mollie Whalen and Joe Ashcroft, along with Diane Drake and Marianne Goldsmith.
