The Edgartown Police Department search for Megan Donovan, a 15-year-old police believed to be a runaway, ended Wednesday morning when the young girl and her traveling companion, 20-year-old Gregory Mooney of Mashpee, were taken into custody by police in Wallingford, Conn.
The Edgartown Police Department is searching for a 15-year-old missing girl, Megan Donovan, who is believed to be a runaway. The police have posted the girl’s photo to the department’s Facebook site and are asking for the public’s help.
Police said Megan left Martha’s Vineyard on Friday.
Megan was last seen Sunday, May 24 at the Kennedy Center Plaza in Providence, RI, and is believed to be in the company of 20-year-old Gregory Mooney of Mashpee, police said.
The police provided the following description of Megan: white female, 5 feet, 5 inches, 140/lbs, dark shoulder length hair with red highlights on one side and shaved close on the other.
Mr. Mooney is described as 6 feet, 135/lbs.
