At the Edgartown Bridge Club on Monday, May 18, 10 pairs competed. Finishing first were Mollie Whalen and Joe Ashcroft, followed by Caroline Baum and Gerry Averill in second, Ken Judson and Anita Persson in third, and Warren Morse and Gail Farrish in fourth. Note that the Edgartown Bridge Club will be moving to the Tisbury Senior Center on June 1. Game time is 1:15 pm; plan to arrive around 1:00.
At the Martha’s Vineyard Bridge Club on Tuesday, May 12, nine pairs competed. Finishing first were Deirdre Ling and Carol Whitmarsh, followed by Mariann Farrelly and Bernadine Lacy in second, Ken Judson and John O’Keefe in third, and Art Spielvogel and Colleen Morris in fourth.
On Tuesday, May 19, 13 pairs competed in a special game at the Martha’s Vineyard Bridge Club in Vineyard Haven. Finishing in first place were Michel Riel and Dave Donald, followed by Sandy Lindheimer and Barbara Besse in second, Mollie Whalen and Joe Ashcroft in third, Tillie Foster and Dorothy Brannon in fourth, and Ken Judson and Sue Collinson in fifth. The start time for this game has changed to 7 pm every Tuesday.
