The Martha’s Vineyard Relay for Life will be held this Saturday, May 30, at Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School. The annual event, now in its 12th year, gives Islanders the chance to honor friends, co-workers and family members — survivors and victims alike — and support the American Cancer Society. Saturday’s event begins at 9 am, and includes an opening ceremony, a survivor ceremony, a reception and a dinner, and a candlelight luminaria ceremony to provide an opportunity for people to work through grief and find hope. There is no fee to register and the event is open to the public. For additional information, visit relayforlife.org.
