At the Edgartown Bridge Club on Monday, May 25, nine pairs competed. Finishing first were Eric Stricoff and Rhonda Cohen, followed by Warren Morse and Gail Farrish in second, Sue Collinson and John O’Keefe in third, and Deirdre Ling and Diane Drake in fourth. The Edgartown Bridge Club is now holding its Monday-afternoon games at the Tisbury Senior Center. Game time is 1:15 pm. Plan to arrive around 1.
At the Martha’s Vineyard Bridge Club on Tuesday, May 26, 12 pairs competed in a special game. Overall winners were Deirdre Ling and Ed Russell in first, followed by Bea Phear and Barbara Silk in second, Michel Riel and Dave Donald in third, and Sue Collinson and Ken Judson in fourth. Finishing in fifth place were Eric Stricoff and Rhonda Cohen.
At the Island Bridge Club in West Tisbury on Thursday, May 28, seven tables competed for a Club Championship. Finishing first overall were Barbara Besse and Miles Jaffe, followed by Mollie Whalen and Joe Ashcroft in second, John O’Keefe and Ken Judson in third, Dave Donald and Rich Colter in fourth, and Sue Collinson and Andy Jacknain in fifth. Also finishing third in the North-South direction were Eric and Rhonda Cohen.
At the Island Bridge Club in West Tisbury on Thursday, May 21, 12 pairs competed. First place went to Dan and Nancy Cabot, followed by Joan Perrine and John O’Keefe in second, Dave Donald and Rich Colter in third, Sandy and Michael Lindheimer in fourth, and Sue Collinson and Ken Judson in fifth.
