At the Edgartown Bridge Club on Monday, June 29, 12 tables were in play. Finishing first North-South were Sandy and Michael Lindheimer, followed by Ency Fokos and Anita Persson in second, Sari Lipkin and Carol Whitmarsh in third, Warren Morse and Gail Farrish in fourth, and Richard Eubanks and Duncan Walton in fifth. In the East-West direction, Gerry Averill and Ken Judson finished first, followed by Karen Sullivan and Joan Attianesa in second place. Tied for third place were Audrey Egger, playing with Brooks Robards, and Judy Cronig, playing with Molly Mattoon. Fifth place went to Judy Maynes and Barbara Kummel.

At the Martha’s Vineyard Bridge Club in Vineyard Haven on Tuesday, June 30, eight tables were in play. Finishing first in the North-South direction were Dave Donald and Michel Riel, followed by Sandy Lindheimer and Barbara Besse in second place, and Ed Russell and Deirdre Ling in third. In the East-West direction, first place went to Ken Judson and Sue Collinson, followed by Gerry Averill and Anita Persson in second, and Jim Kaplan and Miles Jaffe in third.

At the Island Bridge Club in West Tisbury on Thursday, July 2, eight tables were in play. In the North-South direction, a tie for first place went to Foster Osborne, partnered with Deirdre Ling, and Barbara Besse, partnered with Miles Jaffe. Third place went to Carol Whitmarsh and Sari Lipkin. In the East-West direction, Dave Donald and Rich Colter finished first, followed by Mollie Whalen and Joe Ashcroft in second, and Jim Kaplan and Linda Schapiro in third.

At the Bridge Club of Martha’s Vineyard on Saturday, July 4, six tables were in play. Finishing in first place in the North-South direction were Foster Osborne and Lew Kleinhans, followed by Ken Judson and Sue Collinson, who tied for second with Colleen Morris and Paul Howes. In the East-West direction, Julia Burgess and Clara Hargrove finished first, followed by Trudy Ulmer and Emily Robertson, who tied for second with Carol Butler and Jim Kaplan.
