The Steamship Authority (SSA) will hold its monthly business meeting Tuesday, July 21, on Martha’s Vineyard.

General Manager Wayne Lamson said the agenda would include an update on all current projects, including the construction of the M/V Woods Hole and the Woods Hole terminal reconstruction project. The staff will also present proposed 2016 winter, early spring, and spring operating schedules for board approval.

The staff will also present a proposal from Seastreak to provide additional fast ferry service from New Bedford to the Vineyard, with continuing service to Nantucket, which will include inter-island service as an added benefit for those passengers looking to make a day trip to Nantucket, he said. The board will also discuss Mr. Lamson’s proposed goals for the next 12 months.

The meeting begins at 9:30 am Tuesday in the Katharine Cornell Theater in Vineyard Haven, and is open to the public.
