Finishing first North-South were Art Spielvogel and Bob Franklin, followed by Joe Ashcroft and Mollie Whalen in second, John O’Keefe and Andy Jacknain in third, Sandy and Michael Lindheimer in fourth, Sandy Smith and Ken Judson in fifth, and Judy Maynes and Barbara Kimmel in sixth. In the East-West direction, Nancy Eppel and George Shattuck finished first, followed by Louise Marx and Jerri Grannis in second, Judy Cronig and Molly Mattoon in third, Lee Sinai and Georgia Schlei in fourth place, Mary Baker and Lee Kleinman in fifth, and Joan Attianesa and Karen Sullivan in sixth.

At the Martha’s Vineyard Bridge Club in Vineyard Haven on Tuesday, July 14, seven tables were in play. Finishing first in the North-South direction were Sandy Lindheimer and Barbara Besse, followed by Dave Donald and Michel Riel in second, and Bob Iadicicco and Michael Lindheimer in third. In the East-West direction, Miles Jaffe and Jim Kaplan finished first, followed by Gerry Averill and Richard Williams in second, and Dan and Nancy Cabot in third.

At the Island Bridge Club in West Tisbury on Thursday, July 16, eight tables were in play. In the North-South direction, Eric Stricoff and Jim Kaplan finished first, followed by Miles Jaffe and Barbara Besse in second, and Don Nelson and Lou Winkelman in third. In the East-West direction, Rich Alpert and Barbara McLagen finished first, followed by Gerry Averill and Sue Collinson in second, and Ken Judson and Richard Williams in third.

At the Bridge Club of Martha’s Vineyard on Saturday, July 18, nine tables were in play. Finishing in first place in the North-South direction were Ken Judson and Sue Collinson, followed by Richard Eubanks and Duncan Walton in second, Rhonda Cohen and Eric Stricoff in third, and Tillie Foster and Emily Robertson in fourth. In the East-West direction, Iris Capobianco and Carol Butler finished first, followed by Deirdre Ling and Ed Lewis in second, Julia Burgess and Barbara Alleyne in third, and Millie Henderson and Yvonne Bauer in fourth.
