Controlled burn in Edgartown this Thursday and Friday

Smoke will be visible Thursday and Friday along the south shore of the Island.

The state Division of Conservation Resources will be conducting a controlled burn on the south side of West Tisbury Road across from the Manuel F. Correllus State Forest in the Pohoganut section of Edgartown on Friday, July 23 and Saturday, July 24.

Smoke will likely be visible along the south side of the Island.
