Robert F. Tilton, 84, died on Thursday, July 23, 2015 at his home in Vineyard Haven.
He was predeceased by his wife, Shirley (Knudsen) Tilton in May of 2013.
A graveside service for the burial of his cremains will be held on Saturday, August 1 at 10:30 am in the Oak Grove Cemetery, State Road, in Vineyard Haven. Donations may be made in his memory to the Tisbury Firefighters Association, PO Box 1313, Vineyard Haven, MA 02568.
