Ag Fair organizers have asked fairgoers to leave their dogs at home with the exception of the dog show on Sunday.
The Martha’s Vineyard Agricultural Society released the following statement: “Due to the increased number of dogs brought to the fair and an increase in dog-related incidents, the MVAS Board of Trustees have voted a ‘no dogs at the fair’ policy. This was decided for the safety and welfare of all of the animals and fairgoers.”
The Ag Fair begins Thursday, August 20.
