This weekend, Martha’s Vineyard Community Services will host a Chicken Alley Arts Weekend. On Friday, August 14, from 5 to 8 pm, the Chicken Alley Thrift Shop will host a fashion show for local designers and dressmakers to showcase their work. On Saturday, August 15, at 4 pm, the Thrift Shop will host a film screening of “Traceable,” a documentary about the fashion industry, at Capawock Theater, and on Sunday, August 16, from 1 to 5 pm, stop by the Thrift Shop for an art and collectible sale featuring jewelry, vintage clothing, and more treasures that have been collected throughout the year.
