On Monday, Sept. 7, unite with the Friends of the Edgartown Library for the Pennywise Path 5K Run/Walk to the new Edgartown library. This USA Track & Field–sanctioned event is continuing a tradition begun two years ago. Runners will gather at 9 am at the Edgartown School, and be shuttled by bus to the start on Pennywise Path, which runs parallel to the Vineyard Haven Road. The first 100 registrants will get a commemorative T shirt. Early registration $20 adults, $10 children 12 and under. On race day, $25 adults, $15 children 12 and under.
