On Saturday, Sept. 5, and again on Oct. 9, Comedy’s Best Kept Secret Tour comes to the Harbor View with comedians Dan Frigolette and Matt Richards. The show is part of a multicity tour that will benefit the Liberty Humane Society, a New Jersey–based animal rescue organization.

According to a press release, Mr. Frigolette and Mr. Richards have both performed nationally and on the New York and Boston comedy circuits, and are currently touring coast to coast to keep Comedy’s Best Kept Secret, which began in New York and will end in Alaska.

Mr. Frigolette can be recognized from his work on television, including roles on “Boardwalk Empire” and “Show Me a Hero” on HBO, as well as comedy features on “The Wendy Williams Show,” “W Kamau Bell Show,” and the “Artie Lange Show.” Mr. Frigolette has also headlined the world-famous Caroline’s on Broadway in New York City.

Mr. Richards is known for his work on MTV’s hit show “Joking Off,” where he writes and performs on the “social media meets improv comedy” program. In addition to comedy, Mr. Richards is also versed in magic and hypnosis.

The two have come together to tour for the benefit of the Liberty Humane Society and the work that it does to provide low-cost veterinary clinics, spay and neutering, and adoption services. Mr. Frigolette, performer and tour producer, said of the comedians’ efforts, “In a world where comedy is of grave need, we love the opportunity to entertain and enrich.”
