Richard W. “Buzzy” Blankenship, 70, died on Monday, Sept. 7, 2015, at his home in Oak Bluffs. He was predeceased by his wife Nancy Brooker Blankenship in November 2003, and he is survived by his daughters, Meredith Aldrich and Beth O’Connor. He will be cremated, and his funeral service will be held at a later date.
