Agnes Helen Rice of Vineyard Haven died on Monday, Sept. 21, at Martha’s Vineyard Hospital. She was 90.
Agnes was married to George E. Rice, who died in November 2002, and was the mother of Joan Rice and Edward Rice. Visiting hours in the Chapman, Cole and Gleason Funeral Home, Edgartown Road, Oak Bluffs, will be held on Friday, Sept. 25, from 5 to 7 pm. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Sat., Sept. 26, at 10 am in St. Augustine’s Church, Franklin Street, Vineyard Haven, with burial following in Oak Grove Cemetery, State Road, Vineyard Haven.
