In the face of continuing strong winds, the Steamship Authority is diverting all trips to and from Oak Bluffs to Vineyard Haven through Sunday, October 4. “These trip diversions may last into early next week,” the SSA said in an email alert posted Thursday.
On Sunday morning, the SSA cancelled early morning trips by the freight boats Katama and Governor.
Winds are expected to diminish throughout the day.
The Steamship Authority advises customers to check the Authority’s website for further updates.
