At the Edgartown Bridge Club on Sept. 28, nine tables were in play. Finishing in first place in the North-South direction were Dave Donald and Barbara Silk, followed by Anita Persson and Cathy Minkiewicz in second, Eric Stricoff and Rhonda Cohen in third, and Art Spielvogel and Sue Sadler in fourth. In the East-West direction, Bea Phear and Sue Collinson finished first, followed by Barbara Kummel and Judy Maynes in second, George and Isabel Shattuck in third, and Judy Cronig and Molly Mattoon in fourth.
At the Martha’s Vineyard Bridge Club in Vineyard Haven on Sept. 29, 10 pairs competed. Finishing in first place overall were Gail Farrish and Warren Morse, followed by Sue Collinson and John O’Keefe in second, Miles Jaffe and Barbara Besse in third, and Dave Donald and Michel Riel in fourth.
At the Island Bridge Club in West Tisbury on Oct. 1, 10 pairs competed. Finishing in first place overall were Sue Collinson and Sandy Smith, followed by Anita Persson and John O’Keefe in second, Dave Donald and Barbara Silk in third, and Ed Russell and Deirdre Ling in fourth.
