This Saturday, Oct. 17, raise awareness about Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and walk for a good cause during the eighth annual Domestic Violence Awareness Walk. Sponsored by Martha’s Vineyard Community Services Connect to End Violence, the family-friendly walk begins at Edgartown Park and Ride and travels two miles through downtown Edgartown. Registration starts at 10:45 am, and the walk begins at 11 am. Price is $5 in advance or $10 on the day; water and snacks provided.
